Carolyn + Jeff celebrated their floral summer dream wedding (as I’ve been calling it) at the Milestone Mansion in Aubrey, TX on June 10,2023. The day was filled with the most gorgeous florals by Petals Couture, a fun band and lively dance floor. Most importantly, this day was filled with love. I never take for granted the gift of having a front row seat into days like this day. From their first look, to portraits and everything in between, these two exuded love for one another, their family and friends and for the Lord, which their relationship is very evidently centered on.
Thoughtful Details
This north Dallas venue was the perfect spot for them to host their family and friends. Carolyn+ Jeff, along with their planner at Treasured Heart Events, had thoughtful details displayed throughout their summer dream wedding day. One of the first unique details was the bride and groom’s mom’s wedding dresses on display during the cocktail hour, alongside a whole arrangement of family that had gone before them. It’s my dream that their wedding photo would end up on something similar one day.
They also had custom candles poured for every female guests that was named after and for their honeymoon destination. (I burn this candle religiously in our home lately and it may beat the Anthroplogie Blue Volcano for the no. 1 spot in our home.) For the gentlemen, they had a massive chocolate candy bar with their wedding crest on it. It was a thoughtful and detailed gift for each guest. The crest was also displayed in various places throughout their wedding, including their dance floor!
These two truly didn’t miss a thing. They were so filled with joy and their people celebrated them so well all day long! Weddings and couples like this continue to remind me over and over, why I love this job so much.
A Special Thank You
Jeff + Carolyn – Thank you both so much for trusting me to capture your big day. You two love each other from the love you have been given in Christ and it’s really obvious and was really encouraging to witness. I love getting to celebrate alongside you both and had so much fun celebrating this day with you.
