Anna Catherine + Cole’s Dallas Arboretum Engagement Session

This Dallas Arboretum engagement session was one of my favorite from lately. (Can I admit that?!) I probably love every session there because there are just so many beautiful places to shoot and this session was no different. I am excited to show you these photos!

I was so honored to get to live with Anna Catherine after she graduated from DBU, when I lived in a house with four other girls before my wedding. Now she is the one getting MARRIED this October. AC had been a babysitter for my best friend’s kids while she was at DBU, which is how we originally met and it’s hard to believe it’s been over two years since I did her senior session. (You can view it here.) Life moves fast and I am just so pumped for AC and Cole as they prepare for a life together, as one, so soon!

Don’t Blame the Texas Heat for these Hotties

It’s no joke that Texas has been beyond hot this summer. We have had record breaking days in the hundreds and for the first time maybe ever, I genuinely want to move somewhere further north. But the heat could not keep these two from sneaking in their engagement photos a few months before their wedding. You genuinely cannot tell for a second that it was a least 95 degrees already by 9:45am at the Dallas Arboretum. They look flawless and are so cute together!! I have no doubt these two are going to be an incredible team in ministry and in their home as husband and wife.

Outfit Tips

I love how AC + Cole were styled for their session at the Dallas Arboretum. I often recommend one nicer outfit with one a bit more casual and that’s exactly what they did. I love how timeless their choices are but yet still felt trendy and stylish. AC first wore a dress from the brand Anna Cate. This was a new brand for me and I am loving all the options they have for engagement photos. (thanks to Google photo search, I found the dress here- Charlotte Maxi )
