Going to the Chapel

Going to the (Bowden) Chapel to get married!

Meredith and Cameron were married July 22, 2023 at the North Texas wedding venue, The Bowden. This venue features a beautiful windowed chapel and a grand ballroom which is the perfect backdrop for adding florals and hosting a grand party. It is also a great venue for a wedding in these Texas summers. Every detail of Meredith and Cameron’s wedding reflected their love story in a unique way. Even the infamous, Tiff’s Treats made an appearance which I will refer to later. They kept their decor traditional but tasteful and trendy with a light blue and blush color scheme, both classic and beautiful. No detail was missed for the elegant celebration, planned by Knighted Affairs and their team.

My Favorite Details including Tiff’s Treats

Meredith + Cameron saved their first look for the moment they met each other at the end of the aisle. They each wrote letters to one another, which they read before the ceremony and Meredith shared a first look with her father before their photos began. Laurel and Finch Floral Company decorated the aisle and chapel with gorgeous arrangements to make a beautiful chapel, even more stunning.

I noted several things I loved about this wedding. The first included, a reception entrance lined with images of generations of family members who had been married before them, displaying a beautiful legacy of long lasting marriage. Another was their blue and white checkerboard dance floor. This is a sure way to make your reception images stand out and a bit more unique and fun (especially in a large space.) I also LOVED the floral details on their cake and that they used Cameron’s grandfather’s old Chevy as the getaway car.

The band, In10city was amazing and featured a recent singer off of the Voice, but the real feature was Tiff’s Treats. Tiff’s played a large role in Cameron + Meredith’s dating and proposal story which won them the Bride’s of North Texas Looks of Love contest earlier this year. You can read more here. So it was only fitting that they make an appearance at the wedding as well.

A Special Thank You

Meredith + Cameron– Thank you both for including me on your dream wedding day. I hope when you look back at these images, they are a reminder to you of God’s kindness and grace and that they forever serve as an ebenezer to the love that you have for one another and the Lord. It was such a joy to get to photograph your wedding day and it was so fun to be a part of. I love that Cameron beat getting friend zoned, because what a rich history of friendship that adds to your marriage. You two are so clearly loved by family and friends and I’ll always be rooting for the Gunters.

A special thank you to all of the vendors who made their big day so amazing:
