There’s something magical about a wedding at Hotel Crescent Court and the Dallas Arboretum that feels both timeless and personal. A recent celebration at the Hotel Crescent in Dallas and the Dallas Arboretum truly embodied this balance, combining the opulence of a classic venue to get ready at, with the enchanting beauty of nature for the ceremony and reception. From the first look to the final dance, every detail of this wedding was nothing short of perfection.
A Glamorous and Relaxed Start at the Hotel Crescent Court
The day began at the luxurious Hotel Crescent Court and then later at the Dallas Arboretum, venues, known in Dallas for their refined ambiance and charm. As the bride and groom prepared for their big day, the hotel’s stunning architecture set the tone for the celebration to come. The Bride, Elise, got ready in the most stunning hotel suite I have ever been in, giving us space to create so many stunning images as Elise got ready with her friends close by. The view from the room, truly is unbeatable.
The couple exchanged a first look in the courtyard of the hotel after a morning getting ready. The anticipation in the air was palpable as the couple shared their first moments together. The bride, in a modern, strapless, and breathtaking gown , was a vision of grace. The groom, looking every bit as dashing in his tuxedo, couldn’t keep his eyes off his bride. And their baby girl, serving as the precious flower girl, added an extra layer of sweetness to the day. Little H was such a tangible picture throughout the day to everyone of the love and joy at the heart of this beautiful union. As a mom myself, I just was beaming at their love for her and the precious moments they were creating as a family.
They decided against having a traditional wedding party which provided a slower, relaxed pace to the day that we all enjoyed. This allowed for lots of time and opportunity for portraits, both around the hotel as well as their wedding location; the Dallas arboretum.
Sunset Ceremony at the Dallas Arboretum: A Whimsical Garden Dream
A November evening ceremony created an opportunity for a beautiful sunset ceremony. As the evening sky shifted, guests were welcomed by golden hour to the Dallas Arboretum. The sunset ceremony was nothing short of a fairytale, with the couple exchanging vows amidst the stunning overlook of White Rock lake, and vibrant blooms by the talented team of Monarch and Marigold Studio, framing the scene. The colors were absolutely mesmerizing. Whimsical arrangements of bright, colorful sunset tone flowers created a stunning contrast against the serene backdrop of the Arboretum’s expansive greenery and skyline.
As the golden hour passed, the lighting became even more magical. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful sunset. A camera can’t entirely do it justice, but the couple shared the first kissed as the sun faded away, and they officially became Mr. and Mrs.
After the sunset ceremony, guests made their way to an elegantly designed cocktail hour where the ambiance remained just as enchanting. The thoughtful planning team ensured that every element of the day was flawlessly executed. From the perfectly arranged florals to the delicate lighting, every detail was well-coordinated to create an unforgettable experience. It was clear that the couple’s vision for a wedding filled with both elegance, fun and whimsy was being brought to life seamlessly.
The reception that followed was filled with laughter, joy, and dancing. The live band kept the energy high, and the guests danced all night long. The bride and groom shared their first dance upon entering their reception and then had a dance later with their little girl. It was precious.
The whole day was a perfect blend of elegance, family, and joy — and they couldn’t have been happier. From the unforgettable morning at Hotel Crescent to the most beautiful sunset ceremony at the Dallas Arboretum, it was a celebration that will forever be etched in their hearts.
The wedding not only captured the beauty of two souls coming together but also celebrated the love they share for their little girl and the family that surrounds them. It was an extraordinary day — one filled with laughter, love, and memories that will last a lifetime.
It’s proof that when the right venues, perfect timing, and a talented team come together, a dream wedding truly does come true without a hitch.
